Bella Four Bakery Inc., parent company of popular all-natural, on-the-go snacks and food brand Nature’s Bakery, expanded its capabilities this quarter, acquiring the assets of Missouri-based Theodoro Bakery.
As part of the $4 million acquisition, Bella Four Bakery takes possession of Theodoro Bakery’s 117,000-square-foot baking facility located in Hazelwood, Mo. The facility will house two additional ovens, which could double the capacity of the booming Nature’s Bakery brand. Bella Four Bakery,Inc. plans to expand its line of baked goods, offering private label co-packing and production support for Nature’s Bakery fig bars.
Bella Four Bakery, Inc. intends to retain Theodoro’s current employees and hopes to create 100 additional jobs in 2015. The company also plans to be highly active in the St. Louis community, as it has throughout Northern Nevada.
“The acquisition of Theodoro’s assets is a great move for us and one we’re very excited about,” said the company’s founder, Dave Marson. “My son Sam and I look forward to this opportunity for continued growth, particularly in an area with abundant access to high-quality ingredients.”
