John Wm. Macy's CheeseSticks, a manufacturer of premium baked snacks, announced the launch of its responsively designed website at www.cheesesticks.com. The new website consolidates three separately hosted sites into a unified website based on the open-source Concrete5 content management system and Shopify's widely popular ecommerce platform. The website automatically resizes itself to the consumer's computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone for an optimal user experience.

"We wanted a cleaner, more beautiful site with better navigation, greater interactivity with consumers and an easier online shopping experience," said Tim Macy, Vice President. "In a nutshell, we wanted visitors to have more fun. This called for a complete rebuild, which led us to a new web host and developer, new software and a new ecommerce solution."

The new website incorporates the Company's previously separate blog and recipe sites. The updated blog features weekly articles on cocktails, dining, entertainment and lifestyle. The completely rebuilt recipe section, with extensive new photography, features appetizers, entrees, desserts and wine pairings focused on the Company's gourmet snack products. Consumers need only refer to their smart phones to pick up the necessary ingredients.

The Company has also added a live Twitter feed to its home page so that visitors can tweet directly from the site. Also new is a Where to Buy page which incorporates geo-location software from Donde.io to locate nearby retailers for the Company's products. "This is a work-in-progress which should really help consumers," says Mr. Macy. "We'll build our retailer database as we collect more information from distributors and from customer feedback."

The new website was designed by Adpartner, Inc., the Company's long-time creative agency, and developed by Web Instinct, its new hosting partner. The website launch completes a year-long marketing makeover which began with new retail packaging in 2013 and included new advertising campaigns and an overhaul of the Company's social media presence.
