Now through September 29, participating U.S. restaurants are encouraging new and loyal fans of the brand to enjoy either (or both) for just $1.
Launched in August, Tim Hortons Dark Roast is a premium blend made from 100% Arabica beans, sourced from the world's most renowned coffee regions. The new blend offers hints of citrus, cocoa and earthy tones with a rounded body. It is carefully roasted to bring out the full, rich flavor and aroma of a dark roast coffee, while ensuring a perfectly smooth finish.
"We are often the first stop in our guests' morning routines and we believe coffee is more than a beverage, it's a ritual," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president Tim Hortons U.S. "Offering our guests a $1 any size coffee is our way of helping them get the day started off right—all week long."
As part of National Coffee Day celebrations on September 29, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will be giving out more than $9,000 in cash and gift cards. Special gold envelopes filled with either a $25 Tim Cards or cash will be hidden across local hotspots in Columbus, Ohio; Buffalo and Rochester, New York; Detroit and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The brand hopes guests who find a golden envelope will treat themselves first to a $1 coffee and then something else special on National Coffee Day.
