Clabber Girl Corporation, manufacturer of America's No. 1 brand of baking powder and sister company of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, is proud to announce their plans for a cookbook dedicated to the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
To commemorate this milestone, Clabber Girl is creating a special cookbook, "Brickyard to Backyard: Remembering Recipes from Race Days Past," that reflects our ties to IMS and honors long-standing family traditions. The cookbook will feature recipes associated with the track from Indianapolis 500 fans along with their favorite track memory and photograph.
"Brickyard to Backyard" will be composed of recipes that would be used for tailgating, barbecuing, at-home race viewing parties, and/or picnicking.
To be considered, applications must include the following:
Your name, home mailing address, phone number, and email address.
The recipe name, ingredient list, preparation instructions, and yield.
Your favorite Indianapolis 500 and/or IMS memory summarized in 150 words or less.
A personal photograph related to the Indianapolis 500 and/or IMS.
Recipes, memories, and photographs must be the original work of the participant, must not be copied or reproduced from any published or copyrighted source, and must not contain trademarked names. Official entry rules can be found online at www.clabbergirl.com/Brickyard-to-Backyard-Cookbook.
