TLC network’s “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro has been in Chicago looking for a new location for his bakery chain, Carlo’s Bakery.

On a Facebook Live video with WGN Morning News, he had this to say:

"We want to be on Michigan Avenue, somewhere in the downtown area. Chicago has always been such great city to me, so we would love to open a bakery here. I think eventually, if it's not now, then within the next couple of years, we'll definitely be here."

Carlo’s Bakery is located in New York, Connecticut, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. There are six New Jersey locations, including the original Carlo’s Bakery, where filming for the reality show "Cake Boss" first started.
