Set to open in New York City’s Meatpacking District on July 29, the Museum of Ice Cream will satisfy ice cream lovers of all ages. Unfortunately, it will only be open for one month, giving it a “Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory” feel.
Just in time for the tail-end of National Ice Cream Month, the museum will include plenty of fun features. That will include edible balloons, a chocolate room, a larger-than-life ice cream sundae, and various ice cream vendors on site.
The most newsworthy feature, however, will be a pool filled with fake rainbow sprinkles that visitors can actually swim in.
Additionally, the museum will allow guests to swing on an ice cream sandwich made for two, seesaw on an ice cream scooper, and find their match/favorite flavor on a custom app in Tinder Land.
Tickets for this ice cream adventure cost $18 and includes admission into the museum for an hour and all the ice cream you wish to eat while there, but high demand means that you’ll have to reserve your spot online.
