Acclaimed bakery Tartine is growing, as the San Francisco Chronicle reports that it is looking to expand to the Inner Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco. The company reportedly has its sights set on a location on the city's Ninth Avenue. This new location would join Tartine’s two other locations in the city.

Also coming soon to San Francisco International Airport, otherwise known as SFO, is a new food hall. Tartine’s Elisabeth Prueitt and Chad Robertson, along with Gabriela Cámara of Mexican eatery Cala and Pim Techamuanvivit of Thai restaurant Kin Khao, are teaming up to open the 3,000-plus square-foot concept called Manufactory Food Hall.

Tartine’s portion of the concept will feature a seasonal menu based on popular offerings including warm sandwiches, fresh salads, and soups. There will also be a pastry counter that will have morning buns, seasonal tarts, and a Coffee Manufactory bar for grab-and-go coffee, espresso based beverages and whole beans.

In addition to its plans for San Francisco, Tartine also has a 40,000 square foot venture developing in Los Angeles. Expected to open this summer, the new facility would include a bakery, a market, an all-day cafe, a dinner-only restaurant, a coffee lab, and a roaster.
