After receiving nearly 30,000 Glamburger contest submissions and more than 63,000 votes, America has chosen the Wild Mushroom Burger as the winning Glamburger creation in The Cheesecake Factory’s "Great Glamburger Challenge."

Created by Champaign, Ill. resident Thomas Skaggs, the Wild Mushroom Burger is a mushroom lover's delight, featuring three types of mushrooms - Portabella, Shiitake and Crimini - complemented by caramelized onions, red peppers, Gruyere and Swiss cheese, and demi-glace.

"America loves hamburgers as well as mushrooms so we're confident that the Wild Mushroom Burger will be a great addition to our menu. Our culinary team is excited to get to work to bring Thomas' creation to life for our guests," said The Cheesecake Factory Founder David Overton. "We appreciate the thousands of creative Glamburger submissions as well as the public's participation in helping us choose our next great Glamburger."

America's appetite for hamburgers has grown, as has enthusiasm for creative, premium toppings that create a distinctive burger. The Cheesecake Factory recently debuted its new Glamburger menu category, featuring six unique hamburgers topped with glamorous ingredients. The Wild Mushroom Burger will soon join the Glamburger menu, which includes:

MEMPHIS BURGER - Topped with Slow Roasted B.B.Q. Pork, Melted Cheddar, Cole Slaw, Pickles and Mayonnaise

MONTEREY CHEESEBURGER - Avocado, Melted Jack Cheese, Arugula and Red Onion with Honey-Mustard Mayonnaise

SMOKEHOUSE B.B.Q. BURGER - Smoked Bacon and Melted Cheddar with Crispy Onion Rings and B.B.Q. Ranch Sauce

SONOMA BURGER - Herbed Goat Cheese, Mushrooms, Oven-Roasted Tomatoes, Arugula, Red Onion and Mayonnaise

BLUE CHEESE B.L.T. BURGER - Crispy Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Mayonnaise with Lots of Blue Cheese

GREEN CHILE CHEESEBURGER - Spicy Fire-Roasted Green Chiles and Onions with Crispy Tortilla Strips, Melted Cheese, Tomato Salsa and Chipotle Mayo

Not only will Skaggs have his hamburger creation added to the menu for one year starting later this summer, he has also won a glamorous getaway vacation to one of six locations inspired by the new Glamburger menu. Destinations include: Memphis, Tenn; Sonoma, Calif.; Monterey, Calif.; Austin, Texas; Rogue River Valley, Ore.; or Santa Fe, N.M.
