In addition to five employees who will form the New Orleans bakery's employee advisory board, additional Bellegarde employees will be eligible to join the cooperative after one year of employment.

A newly available course, “Baking Basic 101,” covers skills for new baking employees around workplace safety, food safety and hygiene, communication and technical training.
