Bread Alone Bakery has reopened its Boiceville Bakery & Cafe as an 8,000-square-foot net-zero energy facility. According to the company the facility is the first commercial bakery in the US to operate on 100% renewable energy, without fossil fuels.
Courtesy of Companion Baking in St. Louis, this recipe includes all the classic bread pudding ingredients, but instead of a leftover sweet bread it uses leftover pretzel sticks creating the perfect marriage of sweet and salty.
