Bread Alone Bakery has reopened its Boiceville Bakery & Cafe as an 8,000-square-foot net-zero energy facility. According to the company the facility is the first commercial bakery in the US to operate on 100% renewable energy, without fossil fuels.

The move is part of the company's plan to further invest in alternative grain capabilities and diversify its portfolio of solutions.
